Balgass / Crywolf
A large cooperative PvE event where players defend the Wolf Statue from Balgass and his army inside Crywolf Fortress. Unlike simple boss hunts, this is a defensive objective event — players must protect altars, keep Elf characters alive, and defeat Balgass before the timer ends. The result affects the whole server.

How to enter
- 1 Head to Crywolf Fortress through Valley of Loren
- 2 No entry item required
- 3 Form parties and assign Elf players to altars before the event begins

Event Flow
Preparation
Form a party, assign Elves to altars and tanky players to protection duty. Prepare potions and buffs.
Altar Setup
Elves move to the 5 altars and activate altar contracts. Protectors stand nearby immediately.
Monster Invasion
Balgass army attacks. Clear waves quickly — priority on anything heading for the altars or statue.
Balgass Phase
Balgass spawns as the final boss. Damage dealers focus him while defenders hold the altar area. Do not abandon the statue.
Altar Mechanics
Statue of the Holy Wolf
The main object to defend. Receives protective power from the altars. If all altars are lost or no Elf maintains a link, the statue becomes vulnerable and can be destroyed.
Elf Altar Contract
- Only Elf-type characters can link with altars
- After linking, the Elf cannot move or attack normally
- Moving, dying, or interruption breaks the contract
- At least one Elf must link before the invasion or the event may instantly fail
- Some servers limit link attempts per altar
Server-Wide Effects
On Success
- Weaker monsters in some areas
- Better invitation combination rates
- Kundun HP recovery disabled
- Improved server-wide conditions
On Failure
- Reduced experience
- Reduced drop conditions
- Harder boss fights
- Worse Land of Trials / Kundun conditions

Tactics
Protect Elves First
Keep several players permanently near the altars. If altar Elves die, the statue loses protection and the event can fail within seconds.
Do Not Spread Too Far
Stay close enough to react when monsters attack the altars. The event is won by defending the objective, not chasing every monster.
Focus Dangerous Targets
Kill order: (1) monsters attacking altar Elves, (2) monsters attacking the statue, (3) high-damage monsters, (4) Balgass.
Keep Buffs Active
Refresh Greater Defense, Greater Damage, Soul Barrier and party buffs before the Balgass phase. Do not let them expire during the boss fight.
Save Resources for Balgass
Do not burn cooldowns on trash waves. When Balgass spawns, all damage dealers focus him immediately while defenders hold the altar line.
Common Mistakes
Leaving altars unprotected
The fastest way to fail. Altar Elves must always have dedicated guards nearby.
Everyone rushes Balgass
During the boss phase, defenders must stay near the statue. If everyone chases Balgass, the altar line collapses.
Weak Elves on altars
Altar Elves need strong survivability. Low-HP characters die quickly and break the statue protection.
No role assignment
Crywolf requires coordination. Without assigned roles, even strong players can fail the event.
No Elf links at event start
On many servers this causes instant failure. Elves must be on altars before the invasion begins.
