Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data mu-online.by collects, why, and what you can do about it. We collect only what is needed to run the game server and the website.
1. Data We Collect
Account: username, email address, hashed password, registration IP, last login IP. Game: character names, levels, statistics, in-game actions necessary for gameplay. Payment: transaction ID and amount returned by Stripe or FreeKassa (we do not see or store card numbers). Voting: vote provider, vote ID and timestamp returned by external top sites. Web logs: IP, user agent, requested URL, response code, kept by the web server for security and abuse detection.
2. Why We Collect It
To authenticate accounts, run the game, credit donations and voting rewards, prevent abuse (multi-accounting, fraud, brute force), and respond to user requests.
3. Third Parties
Payment processors: Stripe and FreeKassa receive the data required to process the transaction; their own privacy policies apply. Voting tops: MMOTOP and TopG receive your in-game username when you vote. Hosting: the server is hosted on a Windows VPS; the hosting provider sees encrypted traffic. We do not sell, rent, or share personal data for marketing.
4. Cookies
The site sets a single encrypted session cookie used to keep you logged in, plus a small cookie to remember your selected language. No third-party analytics cookies are set.
5. Retention
Account and character data are kept while the project is active. Web access logs are typically rotated within 30 days. Banned accounts may be kept indefinitely to enforce bans.
6. Your Rights
You can request access to your data, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion of your account and personal data. Contact us via Discord or email. Virtual rewards tied to a deleted account are forfeited and not refundable.
7. Security
Passwords are stored hashed. Database connections use credentials that are not exposed to the public. We use reasonable measures to protect data but cannot guarantee absolute security.
